Lucky Peach!

LUCKY PEACH! Lucky me! another great collection on shelf!

I am in love with this magazines! I first browsed it near a book store in KL, first hit my mind that it must be another monthly food recipe book, but it is way more than what i expected. The covers caught my attention at the first place, when i flipped it through, i was amazed with the designs and creative writing they did, as a designer, i am obsessed with nice bind-ed book design, attractive typography, pretty illustrations and food photography. Best part about this journal, there are lots of different illustrations that play along with the writing, like a collaborative work of art and food!

A little about LUCKY PEACH – it is a quarterly journal of food and writing. Each issue focuses on a single theme, and explores that theme through essays, art, photography, and recipes. It is published by David Chang ( the founder of Momofuku bar).
