The Curious Garden by Peter Brown

I fancy illustrative books! I considered myself an illustration book collector, probably not obsessive with it but i had a great collection of my own that i loved. I came across many different children books, where i really enjoy looking at it on every detailing in the books, it draws back lots of childhood memory, the good time i had with Wizard of Oz!

Now its the time to share my love of picture books, i present you the first picture book: The Curious Garden by Peter Brown (i had it in Chinese version)

Story starts from a red headed boy named Liam…
TCG-1TCG-2TCG-3TCG-4TCG-5 TCG-6 TCG-7 TCG-8 TCG-9 TCG-10 TCG-11 TCG-12Liam, the explorer wanders around the building he stayed, his discovery, his adventure of turning a gray building to a lush, green land, its fascinating! The tale of the curious garden enticed people’s thought on appreciating the green nature around us, start building one before its too late. Nice thoughts of Liam singing to the green little creatures.

β€œA quietly marvelous picture book.”—The New York Times Book Review

Do check out Peter Brown’s work here. He is great.

Enjoy the great big picture!

I adore children’s books and follow quite a few children’s book illustrators. Used to follow a gal from the UK and I have lost her. I am inspired to find her with your post!
